Introduction

The Apple Teacher Certification is a program offered by Apple to educators, designed to enhance their skills in integrating Apple technology into the learning environment. The certification encompasses various Apple products, including iPad, Mac, and apps like Pages, Keynote, and iMovie. To earn the certification, educators must complete a series of self-paced online courses and quizzes. As the instructional technology specialist, it is my job to inspire creativity. I believe that by obtaining my Apple Teacher certification I can provide the best support to every staff member and student. The skills and knowledge obtained from completing the Apple Teacher certification will enable me to teach, innovate and inspire in every which way. The completion of the Apple Teacher certification will also allow me to pursue the Apple Distinguished Educator and Apple Learning Coach certifications in the future.

Outcomes

In obtaining my Apple Teacher Certification I learned foundational skills on both iPad and Mac. My newly acquired skills can will allow me to guide teachers in how they can integrate Apple technology into your everyday lessons. Teachers will then be able to empower students to be more connected, creative, collaborative.
